Search Engine Optimisation for Nottingham Businesses

The process of ranking well in Google is called search engine optimisation or SEO, and there are number of steps that you can take to make your Nottingham business more visible in the search engines.

Your first simple step would be to register your business in the Google Local Business directory.

A search for a Plumber in Nottingham brings up search results that includes information from the Google Local Business Directory:











You can create your own business listing, including a full description, special offers, company logo and photos, videos, detailed mapping information, forms of payment, opening hours, and any accreditation or your specialisms.

You may find that Google already lists your business, but you have not entered your own personal business information. It is well worth the time creating a complete entry.
